Episode 7: The Assassin of the Mist!

  • Team 7 walks with Tazuna along the road.

  • Naruto spots a puddle, muttering “Weird… it hasn’t rained lately.”

  • Kakashi glances at it silently but says nothing.

  • Two Demon Brothers leap out of the puddle, yelling “You’re finished!”

  • Chains whip around Kakashi, tearing him apart.

  • Naruto freezes in terror, shouting “Sensei!”

  • The Demon Brothers rush Tazuna, snarling “The old man dies now!”

  • Sasuke moves fast, “Not while I’m here.”

  • He kicks one Brother and slams the other to the ground.

  • Sakura grabs Tazuna’s arm, yelling “Stay behind me, hurry!”

  • Naruto trembles, thinking “My body won’t move… I’m scared.”

  • One Brother slashes Naruto’s hand, making him bleed.

  • Sasuke traps both enemies with quick strikes.

  • Kakashi suddenly appears unharmed, saying “A substitution jutsu. I was never caught.”

  • Naruto gasps, “But… I thought you were killed!”

  • Kakashi glares at Naruto, “You froze. If Sasuke hadn’t moved, Tazuna would be dead.”

  • Naruto looks down, ashamed, “I… I…”

  • Naruto clenches his fist, “I’ll never freeze again. I swear it!”

  • He stabs his injured hand with a kunai, shouting “I’ll prove I’m not a coward!”

  • Sakura cries out, “Naruto, stop! You’re hurt!”

  • Kakashi watches seriously, thinking “He’s reckless… but determined.”

  • Tazuna lowers his head, sighing “I wasn’t honest with you…”

  • He admits, “Gato’s men are after me. This mission is more dangerous than I told you.”

  • Naruto yells, “I don’t care how dangerous it is! I’ll protect you!”

  • Sasuke smirks faintly, “At least he’s got guts.”

  • The group continues forward, deeper into enemy territory.

  • Dark mist creeps along the path, as new danger awaits.
