Episode 5: You Failed! Kakashi’s Final Decision

• Naruto sits tied to a post, yelling “This isn’t fair! Untie me already!”

• Kakashi folds his arms, “You went after the bells without thinking. You’ll stay like that.”

• Sakura frowns, “Naruto… you’re so reckless.”

• Sasuke stays quiet, glancing at Naruto with annoyance.

• Kakashi looks at the three, saying “You’ve all failed to understand the point of this test.”

• Naruto glares, “I’ll get those bells, you’ll see!”

• Kakashi sighs, “The test is over. You fail.”

• Naruto freezes, “What?!”

• Kakashi explains, “Ninjas who don’t follow the rules are scum… but those who abandon their comrades are worse than scum.”

• Sakura and Sasuke look at each other, surprised.

• Kakashi sets lunch for Sasuke and Sakura, “Eat now. But Naruto gets nothing.”

• Naruto droops his head, muttering “So hungry…”

• Kakashi warns them, “If anyone shares food with him, you’ll all fail.”

• Kakashi disappears into the trees.

• Sakura glances at Naruto, whispering “He looks miserable…”

• Sasuke hands Naruto some rice balls, saying “Eat. We can’t fight together if you’re weak.”

• Naruto’s eyes widen, “Sasuke… thanks!”

• Sakura smiles softly, “Here, have some of mine too.”

• Suddenly Kakashi reappears, furious, “What do you think you’re doing?!”

• Naruto panics, “Wait! It was their idea!”

• Kakashi slams his hand down, then suddenly smiles.

• He declares, “You… pass.”

• Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura blink in shock.

• Kakashi explains, “The true test was teamwork. You finally showed it.”

• Naruto cheers loudly, “Yes! We did it!”

• Sakura sighs with relief, “I thought we were finished…”

• Sasuke smirks slightly, “Hn. About time.”

• Kakashi puts away the bells, saying “From today, you’re officially Team 7.”

• Naruto pumps his fist, shouting “Believe it!”

• The team smiles together for the first time.
