Episode 25: The Tenth Question: All or Nothing!

  • The gates of the Forest of Death close behind the genin.

  • The sound of metal locks echo as Anko shouts, “The test begins now! Survive, and get both scrolls within five days!”

  • Naruto gulps, “F-five days?! In there?!”

  • Sakura mutters, “We’re seriously gonna die…”

  • Sasuke calmly steps forward, “Stop whining. We need to find another team fast.”

  • The trio pushes into the dense jungle.

  • The forest is dark, filled with buzzing insects and distant growls.

  • Naruto shivers, whispering, “Man, this place is like a nightmare…”

  • Sakura elbows him, “Keep your voice down! You’ll give away our position.”

  • Sasuke raises a hand, “Quiet. Something’s watching us.”

  • Suddenly, a squirrel rustles in the bushes.

  • Naruto leaps back, screaming, “AHHH! It’s a monster!!”

  • Sakura yells, “It’s just a squirrel, you idiot!”

  • But before Naruto can laugh it off, a kunai zips past and kills the squirrel instantly.

  • Naruto freezes, “W-what the hell…?!”

  • Sasuke narrows his eyes toward the trees, “We’ve got company.”

  • Hidden enemy genin whisper to each other.

  • “They’re just rookies, this’ll be easy.”

  • Before they can strike, Sasuke hurls kunai at their hiding spot.

  • They barely dodge and retreat.

  • Sasuke mutters, “Pathetic weaklings.”

  • Naruto grins suddenly, “I’ve got it! If I make a ton of Shadow Clones, we’ll find a team in no time!”

  • Sakura snaps, “Don’t waste chakra, idiot! This isn’t a game!”

  • Naruto pouts, “You’re always such a buzzkill…”

  • As they walk deeper, a strange ninja with a Grass headband appears, blocking their path.

  • His eyes are unsettling, his presence overwhelming.

  • Naruto whispers nervously, “Uh… who’s this creep?”

  • Sakura clutches the scroll tighter, her knees shaking, “H-his killing intent… it’s unreal…”

  • Sasuke steps forward, Sharingan flashing briefly, “You’re no ordinary genin. Who are you?”

  • The Grass ninja smirks, his voice low and chilling.

  • “Hand over your scroll… or I’ll kill you.”

  • Naruto yells, “Like hell we will!” and charges with Shadow Clones.

  • The ninja’s smile never fades as he moves like a ghost, slicing through every clone in an instant.

  • Naruto gasps, sweating, “N-no way… he destroyed them like nothing?!”

  • The Grass ninja’s eyes lock onto Sasuke.

  • “Yes… you’ll do nicely…”

  • Sasuke grits his teeth, heart pounding as he realizes the danger.

  • Sakura trembles, paralyzed by the crushing aura.

  • She whispers, “M-my body… it won’t move…!”

  • The Grass ninja suddenly lunges toward Sakura.

  • Naruto’s eyes widen, “SAKURA!!”

  • He throws himself in front of her — but is slammed into a tree, coughing.

  • Sakura cries out, “Naruto!”

  • The Grass ninja towers over them, smirking cruelly.

  • “Let’s see how long you can last…”

  • Episode ends on a cliffhanger — Naruto groaning in pain, Sasuke glaring with his Sharingan, and Sakura frozen in fear as the disguised Orochimaru looms over them.
