-
Naruto wakes up in Tazuna’s house, stretching.
-
He looks around and mutters, “Man, this place feels gloomy…”
-
Tsunami serves breakfast kindly.
-
Naruto grins, “Thanks for the food!”
-
Inari eats silently, glaring at Naruto.
-
Naruto tries to lighten the mood, “Cheer up, kid. We’ll protect you all!”
-
Inari slams his chopsticks down, “You don’t understand anything! You’ll just get killed like everyone else who stood up to Gato!”
-
Naruto stares at him angrily, “What’s your problem?!”
-
Inari runs off upstairs, upset.
-
Sakura frowns at Naruto, “You didn’t have to yell at him.”
-
Naruto crosses his arms, muttering “Tch… brat.”
-
Later, the team gathers outside.
-
Kakashi, still weak, leans on crutches.
-
He says seriously, “We’ll be facing Zabuza again. You need training.”
-
Naruto’s eyes light up, “Yes! I’ll crush him next time!”
-
Sasuke smirks, “Don’t drag me down.”
-
Kakashi explains chakra basics, drawing diagrams on the ground.
-
Sakura listens carefully, “So chakra is physical energy plus spiritual energy…”
-
Kakashi nods, “But controlling it is the hard part.”
-
Naruto scratches his head, “Uhh… sounds complicated.”
-
Kakashi hands them leaves, “Stick these to your forehead using only chakra. That’s your first step.”
-
Naruto slaps the leaf on his head, shouting, “Easy!”
-
It falls off instantly.
-
Sasuke calmly focuses his chakra, and the leaf stays in place.
-
Naruto yells, “No way! How’d you do that?!”
-
Sasuke smirks, “Because I’m not an idiot.”
-
Naruto grits his teeth, determined.
-
Meanwhile, Inari sits by the water, remembering the past.
-
He recalls a man named Kaiza, a hero who once protected the village.
-
Inari’s memory shows Kaiza treating him like a son, smiling warmly.
-
But the memory darkens—Kaiza was captured by Gato’s men and executed in front of everyone.
-
Inari sobs in the memory, “Why… why did you have to die?”
-
Back in the present, Inari clenches his fists, whispering “Heroes always die. Naruto’s just like Kaiza… he’ll end up dead too.”
-
Naruto keeps struggling with the leaf exercise, sweating.
-
He yells at himself, “I’ll prove them wrong! I’ll be the hero who never gives up!”
